Before You Set Any New Year Resolutions…

There’s no doubt this year has been unlike any other. Yet, still, there’s much to be grateful for.
One tradition I practice before ringing in a New Year, & invite you to join me, is to express gratitude for something accomplished or achieved over the past 12 months.
It’s no secret that this year has been different from previous years. However, there are still wins & victories to celebrate.
All too often, when dreaming about what we want to achieve, we forget all that’s been accomplished.
We sometimes forget where we’ve come from, and if we can’t remember where we’ve been, how can we see where we’re going?
I’m a true believer in the practice of gratitude.
It is OK to want more. It’s OK to want to improve yourself and your circumstances.
However, you’ll evolve into a happier & healthier person when done in a spirit of gratitude.
Gratitude for all that has been, all that is, and all that you are.
Setting goals is a good thing. They keep us moving forward and progressing into the person and the purpose we were created for.
Before you set and plan all that is to be done in 2021 – take a moment and be GRATEFUL for something YOU have achieved in 2020. And let’s be clear, making it through 2020 is something to celebrate!
