Education & Experience
Yvette Perrier Quantz is a faith-driven dietitian, entrepreneur, educator, and storyteller dedicated to helping others build trust, nourish connections, and inspire change.
As the founder of Affy Health , Food Therapy, and the creative force behind Foodspirations®, Yvette empowers health and wellness professionals with evidence-based content, marketing tools, and educational resources designed to make credible nutrition communication easier — and more human. Her work bridges science and storytelling, helping professionals connect with their clients in authentic, inspiring ways.
With over 20 years of experience in nutrition and wellness, Yvette’s career began in sports nutrition and fitness, where she quickly realized that dietitians’ greatest impact lies not only in what they teach — but in how they connect. That insight continues to guide her mission to equip dietitians, healthcare providers, and educators with tools that simplify communication and strengthen relationships.
Yvette is the author of The Connect, a monthly e-newsletter offering tips, strategies, and resources for savvy nutrition entrepreneurs who want to grow with purpose and confidence. She’s also the creator of Food Therapy, a private practice and blog that promotes a mindful, compassionate approach to nourishing and fueling one’s body for optimal performance and a vibrant life.
A seasoned communicator, Yvette has appeared regularly on News 15’s Wellness Wednesday Segment and has contributed to numerous publications, including 337 Magazine, Acadiana Moms, The Daily Advertiser, FACE Magazine, Ochsner Eat Fit Blog, and D Magazine. She’s also the author of The Little Black Book of Foodspirations®.
From 2018 to 2023, Yvette served as the Operations and Marketing Dietitian for Ochsner Eat Fit Acadiana, leading community wellness initiatives, restaurant collaborations, and regional nutrition education programs.
An active leader in her professional community, Yvette has presented nationally and locally on branding, marketing, and communication strategies for dietitians — including for The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Illinois Dietetic Association, the Louisiana Dietetic Association, and the Acadiana Nutrition and Dietetics Association. She also serves as a preceptor for dietetic interns, a mentor for nutrition professionals, and a community volunteer through organizations such as Healthy Acadiana and Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
Yvette is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a BS in Kinesiology and holds a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Nicholls State University, completing her internship at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She lives in Lafayette, Louisiana, with her husband, Matt, and their two daughters, Lucy and Mattie — her most significant sources of inspiration and joy.
