Disrupted, Damaged, or Destroyed? What’s Next?

Disrupted, Damaged, or Destroyed?
disrupted, damaged, or destroyed? What's next

Can a Tuesday be a Monday? The answer is both yes, and no.

Last week our lives were disrupted by Hurricane Delta. The strength and speed of her flurry caused destruction all over Louisiana.

As I write this, there are homes without electricity.

Yet, you and I can still connect, most likely because our power has either been preserved or restored.

Yesterday I wasn’t able to send Monday Mojo because my life had been disrupted.

Disrupted, not destroyed.

A walk around the block and I see the devastation of homes, cars, and businesses, reminding me of the damage that needs to be repaired.

All I do know is day by day, recovery will happen.

What has been destroyed will be restored. It might not look the same, it won’t be easy, it will take longer than expected, still, I know a revival is coming.

Recovery happens when we decide to take action to repair and rebuild what has been damaged.

Things might not come back envisioned. The truth is they’re usually restored better than we can imagine.

Tuesday can be your Monday. While it will never read that way on your calendar, it is always a new day to start again.

If your life has been disrupted, damaged, or destroyed by what happened yesterday, you have TODAY. There’s no need to wait for Monday to take the next right step. I know it’s not always easy, but I also know you are worth it.

Don’t give up. You got this!
