My Work:

My Why…

Working with nutrition clients and private practice nutritionists over the past 20 years, I have uncovered an important truth. Once we find our why, we can always find our way.

Here’s my why, I love helping people nourish their bodies. But I also want to feed their spirits. Embracing both callings has been what’s made me, me!

There is almost always a deeper layer if you peek beneath these why’s.

We need to feed our bodies, our minds and our souls. We need to do this in order to connect with others and share our gifts.

My private practice clients come to me with a wide range of whys, from breaking free of disordered eating to pinpointing which foods are making them sick. The dietitian entrepreneurs I support want to build credibility, save time, and focus on areas of their practice they enjoy.

If you peek beneath these why’s, there is almost always a deeper layer.

I may be talking to a Dallas executive, a rural Louisiana outreach participant, or a dietitian growing a practice on the other side of the country, but I’ve seen we are all striving to meet the same human needs.

We need to feed our bodies, our minds and our souls. We need to do this in order to connect with others and share our gifts.

That’s why I work at so many levels. My nutrition practice helps people nourish and heal their bodies so they can be who they were meant to be in the world. My blog posts and customized newsletters help people make sense of nutrition science while growing healing connections between dietitians and their clients. And my Foodspirations® line of books, prints, and cards serve as inspiration on the journey toward a nourished and elevated life.

All three lift my spirit — they are my why. What’s yours?
