That was my word of the year for 2017 and now I am sharing it with you.
Before running into the New Year, pause and reflect on the past year.
Pause for gratitude in all you have done and achieved.
Pause and remember to tell the people in your life just how important they are to you.
Pause and give yourself a pat on the back for making another year around the sun.
And if you decide you want to use “pause” as your word of the year in 2018, here are some ways pausing might be just what you need for a healthy, happy, and prosperous year:
When it comes to your words:
Pause before saying yes to everything being asked of you.
Pause before saying no to the things that scare you.
Pause before declaring “I don’t have time” for the things that are important to you.
Pause before speaking words that could hurt another.
Pause and say “I love you.”
When it comes to your health and well-being:
Pause before eating food and drinking beverages that do not align with your goals.
Pause before taking your next bite and ask, am I really hungry?
Pause and express gratitude for the food that fuels and nourishes you to live and enjoy life.
Pause before deciding to abandon your exercise routine.
Pause and know you are worth it.
When it comes to life:
Pause and be grateful for all you have and all you are.
Pause and know, you are enough.
Whatever you decide to do in 2018 do it because you are being true and authentic with yourself. Pause and know, you do not need to prove to anyone else who you are or what you are made of.
Pause and listen to that inner voice, your intuition, your guide.
After the pause, follow the calling.
You got this!
